We are live on Tezos

SkillZ aims to offer a leading multi-blockchain node deployment and management platform. The SkillZ team is composed of blockchain enthusiasts and engineers in the centre of Paris. We have been working on blockchain technologies since 2018, starting with Ethereum and decentralized applications and now focusing on deploying and orchestrating decentralized networks. Our vision is to offer easy access and management of multiple blockchain protocols on any infrastructure type.



Supporting the Tezos ecosystem

Supporting Tezos is a natural choice for us since we sincerely believe in the technical fundamentals of the protocol. Formal verification, a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm, and on-chain governance make the Tezos protocol a reliable solution for the transfer and storage of high-value data. With the technical support of Nomadic Labs, we propose a set of tools to facilitate access to the network for developers.

The primary value of using SkillZ for the Tezos protocol is to deploy either single nodes or highly available orchestrated node clusters (3–5 nodes) on Carthagenet or mainnet.


Our technology enables users to interact with the chain according to their needs, whether they be a proof of concept or highly critical applications. Deployments can be done into European/American clouds or higher security level data centers across Europe.

Once the user has deployed their Tezos network, they have access to two monitoring dashboards: the network and the transaction dashboards. The network dashboard summarizes the number of nodes deployed, the block level, and the nodes’ availability, the network consumption, etc. The transaction dashboard reviews the number of transactions passing through the nodes, the percentage that fail, transaction logs analysis, and proposes a blockchain explorer.

Focusing the vision of the Ba²S product on usability for developers, a user can directly deploy their smart-contract through our compiler once a network is up and running. We suggest open-source smart-contract templates (tokenization, voting system, multi-sig transfer, subscription, etc.) on Michelson. We will soon add support for Ligo and SmartPy.

We are following a long-term vision for the support of the Tezos ecosystem.

Shortly, we will deploy bakers, answering specific demands from blockchain pure-players and more institutional corporations such as banks.


Additionally, we are witnessing the need for private use of Tezos, while maintaining network security, scalability, and privacy. Implementing private nodes into a blockchain deployment pipeline (testing, pre-production, production) is also an excellent option to quickly test smart contracts before deploying them on the testnet and mainnet.


Tezos, the blockchain for digital assets

We genuinely believe in digital asset tokenization and think Tezos is already positioned as an excellent alternative to Ethereum for such use cases. Formal verification of high-value smart-contract assets is crucial in mitigating the attack surface and reducing systemic and opportunistic risks. It’s also essential for a long-term blockchain layer representing traditional assets to be able to rely on canonical blockchain easy to define legally over time.

Hence, we work closely with tokenization platforms and large banks to provide them with a high-availability connection to the protocol testnet and mainnet, ensuring continuity over assets emission and on-chain secondary market life.


Institutional demand for Tezos

Finally, the adoption of the protocol by large corporations and public administration has already started. With a much lower energy cost, Proof of Stake is a more socially responsible option than Proof of Work.
